Dust was created with a vision of complete improvisation. The only preconceived components were that The House of Oranges would play solely percussion instruments for the first track, exclusively instruments in the key of C on the second track, and use only their mouths on the third track. Dust is the live sequential outcome of October 19, 2019, with sections edited out.
All proceeds from this recording will be donated to Black Lives Matter Foundation indefinitely.

Steve seems to have a way of speaking to the soul in his music. This album is full of lovely melancholy with a tinge of hope. A perfect piece during this pandemic. JgoldOmega

This was the album of the summer and still going strong. The juxtaposition of styles on this album took a few spins to wrap my head around, and by then it was too late- I was hooked. Also, between this and Stove’s Favorite Friend album, Jordyn Blakely is like some indie rock secret weapon. I’m old enough to have seen a lot of scenes/styles come and go, and Exploding in Sound is totally restoring my interest in guitar music. Sco77
Across their second full-length, the London post-punks offer up thrumming motoriks, industrial tones, and sullen sing-a-longs in abundance. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 17, 2024
